Give your children a better future with AI, not despite it.

AI is here to stay.

The Parent's Guide to Artificial Intelligence will teach you how to leverage it to give your kids the best start in life.

Introduction

“The Parent's guide to AI” is a resource for parents that will guide you through this new world of Artificial Intelligence.

Over the last few years, I've watched with amazement and trepidation (in equal measure) as advancements in AI have started to impact our daily lives and the future of our children.

As a parent to two amazing children, I can't help but think about how this new paradigm is going to reset everything we know about learning, working, and interacting.

I found myself repeatedly answering questions to concerned parents, anxious to find out how they can prepare, what potential dangers lie ahead, and what new opportunities are being created.

As an adult with ADHD I'm keenly aware that a one size fits all education system have never delivered maximum opportunity to every child. This is changing as AI spreads into global education. With this incredible democratisation comes radiacally increased competition for tomorrows workers and creatives.

I've always been a strong privacy advocate, and I believe it's crucial to address the ethical use of technology, especially in relation to children. We will explore key topics like ensuring children's privacy, safeguarding their individual developmental needs, and understanding the long-term impacts of AI interactions.

I've done decades of research in VR and mixed reality, and understand the impact of failed experiments in digital social spaces from the past. I am hugely optimistic that parents can get the best out of these tools for themselves, and their young childrem, but big tech has poor incentives to get this right.

So, I'm putting together this resource that brings together everything I've researched, learned, and experimented with. I will answer questions such as:

My Parent's guide to AI will give you all the confidence you need to not just understand the changes that are happening, but also how to use them to your and your children's advantage.

Who is this for

A resource specifically aimed at parents of primary school-aged children.

As a parent of 6 year-old twins, I understand first-hand the questions and opportunites that parents like you have. You will learn how to use new AI tools and products to help educate and entertain your little ones. In addition, I will arm you with the tools you need to protect your family from potential dangers.

Over time I will expand my content to be helpful for kids of all ages.
